☞ Hola! I’m Gabriela Jácome, a graphic designer and illustrator from Quito, Ecuador, currently based in Barcelona, Spain. I have experience in editorial design, textile illustration, and creative narrative.

I studied Graphic Design at Universidad San Francisco de Quito and later specialized in Creative Illustration through a master’s program at BAU, Centro Universitario de Diseño de Barcelona. Throughout my journey in the graphic arts, illustration has remained at the core of my practice, often challenging me to navigate questions of identity within my work and to continuously adapt to a range of visual styles.

From this experience, I reached a clear conclusion: I want to spend my life drawing. So this is my illustration portfolio, which showcases a blend of techniques, subjects, and both personal and professional work that I’m excited to share with you. Enjoy, and if you’d like to get in touch, I’d love to hear from you :-)
